Chilly WindsSeptember 17, 2013

From their incredible Reunion Concert Live! recorded at the historic Bijou Theatre Centre in Knoxville, TN, Nov 9,2001, almost two months to the day after the tragic events of 9/11. This 2 1/2 hour concert was recorded for both CD and DVD. This great song, Chilly Winds, was written by the late great John Stewart of The Kingston Trio and John Phillips of Mamas & Papas fame, and the Trio sang it as a tribute to both Johns, who were their friends in the folk era of the ’60’s.  From left to right are Tom Kilpatrick on 2nd lead guitar, Jerre Haskew on rhythm guitar and Andy Garverick on 1st lead guitar. The dobro player is the great Lou Wamp, one of the 3 best in the world. You can buy all the Trio’s CD’s & DVD’s at www.cdbaby.com, type cumberland trio in the search box. The Trio’s great harmonies are unrivaled in folk music!! Just listen and ENJOY!!
