The Cumberland Trio Reunion Concert, held on Friday, November 9, 2001 at The Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, Tennessee, was successful beyond our wildest dreams!! Special thanks to all of you who were there who came from near and far and were so INTO this special event. We were just glad to be the catalyst for a real Reunion of Families, Friends, Reconnecting, and most of all FUN & EXCITEMENT!! We were thrilled to meet so many of you before and after the Concert and in the downtown Knoxville hotels on Saturday and Sunday. It was a great Homecoming for all of us.

We are deeply grateful to Dave Roberts, Ginny Snow & all the folks at UT for sponsoring the event and working so hard to make it a success. Thanks to Steve Wallace & Crew from DigitalVoiceWorks.com for producing, videoing and recording the show and all ancillary activities. Thanks to Tony Johns & Joe Hamilton from M&L Sound in Knoxville for providing as good a professional sound system as you could have anywhere and for the great mixing job. Thanks to Beverly Snuckals, Scott Segar & all the folks at the Bijou for such a wonderful venue lighting system and their hospitality. And finally, special thanks to Bob Wilkerson on Bass and Louie Wamp on dobro, violin/fiddle, mandolin/mandola and cello, for their special musical talents to raise our sound to new heights!!

We all salute you the audience and tell you that, "Rocky Top, you'll always be home sweet home to" The Cumberland Trio!! Last thing we will say after this incredible experience with all of you is, as they say in Tennessee Football, First & 10, Let's Do It Again!!

Thousands of dollars were raised from the sale of tickets that will benefit the UT School of Music Scholarship Fund.
